Dataspoon is a service operated by
Bobby Cox Companies, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Dataspoon mobile app and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information We CollectWe may collect the following categories of information when you use the Service:

Account Information: Name, email address, and credentials required to create and manage your account.

Authentication Data: Information used to verify your identity when signing in (e.g., email/password, invite codes, or Sign in with Apple).

Operational Data: Restaurant sales, labor, and related metrics. This data may come from:
Dataspoon proprietary systems, and/or
Authorized third-party integrations (e.g., POS or labor systems) connected by your organization.

Device & Usage Data: Technical information such as device type, IP address, app version, and usage activity, collected for performance, security, and analytics.
2. How We Use InformationWe use collected information to: Provide access to restaurant metrics and dashboards. Authenticate and secure user accounts. Operate, maintain, and improve the Service. Provide technical support. Comply with legal obligations. We do
not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Sharing of InformationWe may share information in limited circumstances:

With Your Organization: Administrators at your restaurant may access data associated with your account.

With Service Providers: Vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, authentication, analytics). These providers process data only on our behalf.

With Authorized Integrations: If your organization connects third-party systems (e.g., POS, labor), Dataspoon accesses and displays that data according to your organization’s authorization.

For Legal or Security Reasons: If required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
4. Data RetentionWe retain account and operational data as long as your organization maintains an active Dataspoon account. When an account is terminated, or upon request by your administrator, data is deleted or anonymized according to our retention policies.
5. Your Rights Depending on your location, you may have rights to:Access or request a copy of your personal information. Request correction or deletion of your data. Restrict or object to certain processing. Requests can be made by contacting privacy@dataspoon.com or your organization’s administrator.
6. Account DeletionIf you wish to delete your account, you may: Contact your restaurant administrator, or Email us directly at privacy@dataspoon.com.
7. SecurityWe use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. Access to operational data is restricted to authorized users through secure authentication.
8. Children’s PrivacyThe Service is intended for restaurant organizations and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes to This PolicyWe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at dataspoon.com/privacy with the effective date updated accordingly.
